WELCOME TO KHAIRAGALI

Murree is the ultimate scenic destination; anyone who knows about it can immediately associate it with its scenic views and its pleasant weather. Along the way, there are a number of decent destinations where one may stay and rest. First among them is Khairagali. Khairagali is one of the tourist mountain resort towns of the Galyat area of Pakistan, harboring an altitude of 2347m. It is situated in Palak, a Union Council of Murree District in Pakistan's Punjab province.Throughout the colonial days, the British utilised this hill station as a barrier, and one of the British mountain artillery positioned in Rawalpindi during the winter inhabited it over the summertime.

For those wondering, Khairagali has its own marketplace located at a 3.3 km distance named Barian bazaar. There are a series of shops in this bazaar from where you can easily purchase general groceries that you require for your trip. The facilities of a bank and hospital are also available. Other than this, going a short distance uphill from the Khairagali cricket ground, you can find a small khoka that sells chaye, coffee, parathas and your usual snacks that you can relish on the small seating arrangements they have set out in front of the shop.

1. You can embark on a small adventure on a trekking trail that's shrouded by lush green plantations. You’ll even encounter a cow or two grazing at the green pastures so only set on to this trek if you’re not easily frightened by these delightful creatures.
